Fresh Start Home Meeting Date Change
Due to the July 4th holiday, the Fresh Start Home Meeting will meet on Monday, July 9, instead of July 2, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Plymouth Township Park on Ann Arbor Road and McClumpha. Please bring your own food, beverage and place setting.
Garage Sale to Benefit New Hope
The Monday night Fresh Start group will host a benefit garage sale on June 21 and 22. It will be at the River Pines Condominiums located in Farmington Hills at Nine Mile and Drake Roads. All proceeds will be donated to New Hope. We need volunteers to help price and organize on June 20, and volunteers to sign-up for selling shifts. If you want to make a few signs, we need those too!
More importantly, we need good stuff. If you have been thinking of donating items to a charity, please consider us first. Let your family and friends know to start collecting usable, serviceable items.
Well need customers and sales help, so please spread the word! Thank you for helping to make this a successful fundraiser.
You can email Karen Jinnett with questions or comments at kjinnett@mediaone.net.

The workshop will be presented by Bryan Jinnett, who himself was widowed after 24 years of marriage. This workshop is aimed at dealing with issues facing widowed men, but all men who are dealing with a significant loss are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The group will be staying at the Executive Plaza instead of the Lennox Suites. The cost of $219 includes round-trip train, 2 nights accommodations (based on double occupancy) and a great time! So, ask someone from your group to room with you or we can help find you a roommate and call to get a flyer TODAY!
Caribbean Cruise
I know its early, but weve learned from experience that we need to reserve a block of cabins by June in order to get what we want on the ship we want! Cathy Clough has been taking groups of widows and widowers on a winter cruise for the past 11 years and would like to give you the opportunity to plan your winter vacation now. Those who have traveled with Cathy before have enjoyed this opportunity to travel with others in the same boat, make new friends and escape Michigans winter weather. If you dont like to be pampered, you wont want to join us the last week in January for this 7 day, southern Caribbean cruise on the Sea Princess that sets sail on January 27th. A $250 deposit will hold your spot until final payment is due in November. Your deposit is completely refundable until the date of final payment. So, dont miss the boat call today for a flyer or pick one up at your next group meeting.
Rich Eddys Rocking Oldies Band will play at 7:30 on June 15. We will meet at Pooles Tavern for dinner at 5:30, then go to the concert.
